“Don’t you think life’s long, life is too short. I have HIV AIDS but that’s not the big deal.” This is part of the suicide note Collins Mugisha jotted down before taking his own life.
On Friday, Ndejje was befallen by an omen when one Collins Mugisha a 19-year-old was found lying in a pool of blood with a belt strapped around his neck at his rental in Lungujja zone.
This was after the rental’s security guard got suspicious about Collin’s shoes being outside the whole day yet he was supposed to be attending lectures. The bruises to Collin’s neck and suicide note evident that indeed this was no ordinary death Collins strangulated himself with a belt.
Betty Namulinde the care taker of the rental premises tells of how three days back Collins approached her, informing her of how he had to head back home and collect tuition fees.
Collins Mugisha was pursuing a bachelor in economics, his first year while to his neighbours and friends, he was just like any other ordinary man though reserved issues of his heart to him only.
Collins body is currently at Mulago hospital where it undergoes an autopsy.
