Very disturbing news reaching our news desk confirm, a second year student at Kyambogo University identified as Gabriel Bob (24) has been arrested for defiling a 13 year old Maryhill High school student whose name is withheld for confidential purpose.
Gabriel was arrested earlier on Saturday evening after the mother to the girl who was defiled, learnt about the affair that had been going on between her daughter and the arrested. It is further alleged that Gabriel took advantage of the fact that the girl’s mother had travelled for a business trip hence giving him an opportunity to ‘smash’
The mother to the defiled landed on a whatsapp chat between the two (Gabriel and the daughter) which clearly had evidence of the sexual encounter, before she called police to intervene.
According to Gabriel’s friends, he had always been assuring them about ‘chewing’ the poor 13 year old which leaves no doubt to the incident.
At the moment, Gabriel is being held at Kagongo Police station in Ibanda and is expected to appear before court on Tuesday, according to reports.
