Makerere Kikoni based Olympia Hostel, the posh residence of well to-do Makerere University students has been in the news this week over allegations of sexual harassment that the female students have been experiencing – all brought about by the hostel custodian only known as Reuben.
In a space of days, girls at the Hostel drafted a petition to the hostel owner that close sources say is city lawyer Dr. Joseph Byamugisha. By the time of writing this article, the petition had already garnered over 580 signatures by students – most of whom have experienced the harassment first hand or from tales by a friend.
However, even the boys that have no clue about the whole issue have bandwagonly jumped on the petition and they’re represented by a one Jimmy Agolei. A seemingly disturbed Agolei signed the petition but what shocked our snoops is the reason he attached for signing.
While others were citing highly concerning opinions of the rights of the victims that are being affected by the sex pest of a custodian, Agolei was worried that girls his age were being taken away by an older guy.
“Why is the bastard chewing our water holes?” Agolei pondered.
“I am signing the petition to eliminate unnecessary competition from the idiot even though I personally don’t know the hostel.”
