Musician Joseph Mayanja, mostly known by his stage name Jose Chameleon has landed on a great deal after being among the pile of celebrities that sat for “A” level examinations last year and passed progressively.
The “Baliwa” hitmaker has been granted a scholarship to study any course of his choice that goes along with his “A” level combination for free at the Ggaba road based Cavendish University.
The same institution has, however, chipped in and advised him to apply for a bachelor’s degree in Diplomatic and International Relations in the 2020 intake.
He will be upgrading his education to university level knowledge as he prepares for the Kampala Mayoral seat which he’s set to compete for come 2021.
By press time, the singer hadn’t decided whether to take up the opportunity or to continue with his plans as he had showed interest in studying in the US. He joins the list of the few artistes that are studying for free in and outside the country.
