A new dawn has shone upon Kyambogo University’s fresh graduate Didas Byaruhanga who has pursued his education with a disability. Byaruhanga, 25 from Kasese District graduated with a certificate of Adult and Community Education successfully.
More to that, Uganda’s sole BET Award winner Singer Eddie Kenzo is one of the many Ugandans that were moved and inspired by the story of this graduate.
The singer took to his official Facebook page to congratulate the disabled graduand and also called upon the government to give him a job. The post reads below;
“Congratulations,,
Didas Byaruhanga, 25, who hails from Kasese district, was one of 6559 students that graduated from Kyambogo University.
He graduated with a certificate in Adult and Community Education on January 27 2016.
I wish our government gives you a job straight away. May the great lord be with you. Thank you so much I’m inspired.
Surely seeing this success story, you can affirm that Disability is not Inability.
