Being a slay queen doesn’t mean dressing expensively- MUBS Babe

This week we bring you Nabasirye Natal Dorcus a MUBS finalist , another of the hotties in the chimney telling us who a slay queen should be like according to her.

In your own words, what character traits deem any girl a slay queen?

In my own understanding, being a slay queen is not about the many likes you get on social media, not even wearing heavy make-up and dressing expensively. To be a slay queen you have to be your own self. People don’t have to hear you blow your own trumpet but recognize you. Be humble and respectful, be the girl all men want to take to their mamas not one all men want to take to the clubs.

Are you saying dressing expensively with heavy make-up rules you out as a slay queen?

To be a slay queen you must be an all-round slayer. I’m not saying being trendy is trashy but are you also slaying in other areas of your life? Say academics? Having a selling point is not bad but you must have one that never goes out of trend and will always attract the right people with good attitudes towards you.

What things are being done to keep you fresh?

I look out for things that never go out of trend right from personality to what you see outside.

Every slay queen spends big on her style. What do you spend the most on?

I love changing my hair oftenly. So precisely I would say I spend the most on my hair but my love for shoes also gets a share.

Were you always a slay queen or did this just catch on later on?

I did not know I was a slay queen until I was complimented by you. (giggles). So I guess I have been slaying unknowingly all the way.

If yes, Can you describe your personality and life style before you became a hot queen?

It’s always been the same. I guess I never put a lot of effort into being what you see. When you do what’s best for you and become the best version of yourself, you become perfect in your own skin and things like being recognized as a slay queen come as a bonus.

How do you spend your normal day like?

I usually spend my day reading various forms of literature about fashion and style, nature, economies, anything. I love learning new things. In the evenings I love taking walks to my favourite park; folkets park in Sweden ( where she currently lives) that’s if am not jobbing.

What’s your typical fun day like?

My typical fun day is when I spend the whole day with my partner. Just him and I. I’m a very lovey dovey person so any day with him is fun as crazy.

Any tips to any girl trying to look as fresh as you?

The only tip is having selling points that never have to go out of trend. This keeps me going. I live by that statement.
