Sorrow and misery today afternoon engulfed the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) fraternity after one of their own, John Mukasa Kaddu, died of a mysterious disease.
Kaddu was a second year student of Leaderships and Governance and staying in Bweyogerere.
It’s reported that Kaddu was admitted in a hospital in Ntinda on Wednesday after he felt unwell and doctors had decided to discharged him today after seeing him well, only for him to breathe his last at around 2:30pm today.
According to his close friend and classmate Yvonne Shiffa Nakalembe, Kaddu had never fallen sick since the semester started and doctors have not yet established what killed him. Nakalembe added that his departure is a great blow to the to the whole MUBS community.
He will be laid to rest on Sunday at 2pm at his ancestral home in Semuto, Luweero.
