Yesterday evening, students of Kyambogo University were driven into shock after a nasty and fatal accident that got one student seriously injured.
The female year one student only identified as Kevin, a resident of Tal hostel was moving from campus back to her hostel along the Banda-Naalya road when she was knocked down (as she tried crossing the road ) by a speeding premio which squashed her legs leaving her in a critical condition.
The Toyota premio that was at a high speed then swayed, running into a wall of a nearby hostel.
A one Okello Isaac, one of the students that witnessed this horrific scene told this website that the driver of the Premio was driving at a supersonic speed yet he clearly knew that this was a busy road with students.
“I want to clear the rumors of people saying the lady has passed on, yes she sustained serious injuries but reliable sources have informed me that she’s currently admitted at Nsambya Hospital, but in a critical condition. Therefore I urge all students to include her in their prayers,” commented Hon Kitakule Henry the Guild Information Minister Kyambogo university.
Campus Bee is on ground and will soon bring you full details of this accident.
