On the 10th graduation ceremony of the main campus of St. Lawrence University located in Kampala yesterday 28th November, Katumba Charles emerged the best student among all the graduates with a CGPA of 4.92 on the event graced by the presence of the vice president of the republic of Uganda, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi. He was offering Bachelors of Science in Public Health.
As a sign of appreciation and to encourage other students to read hard, the university gifted him with a 500k cheque for the good efforts he had put in his studies. The university vice chancellor Dr. Andrew Ssemwanga urged all the other continuing students to take him as an example as he was able to manage both work and books at the same time and he managed to be the best among all the students.
