The priniciple of Makerere University School of Law, Prof. Christopher Mbazira has warned students who test positive for Coronavirus to stay away from examination rooms ahead of the sitting.

Prof. Mbazira made the pronouncement in a letter dated June 5 indicating that special exams will be arranged for the affected students on condition that they apply  for those exams.

“The school has allowed students testing positive to apply for special exams with proof of their results. The application will be given due consideration.” Prof Mbazira wrote.

He further urged the affected students to submit their applications for special exams to Principal.law@mak.ac.ug for consideration.

The University kicked off with end of semester exams on May 24 for final year students and thereafter continuing students, who are starting tomorrow (June 7), a day after the President of Uganda addresses the country on the measures to be deployed to combat the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. Schools closure looms
