Gold medalist and National Council of Sports board member, Stephen Kiprotich will be the guest runner at the Annual Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Alumni run, Campus Bee has learnt.
The run, which didn’t go down last year due to COVID-19 will return on 20th March 2022.
According to information published on the flyers, the run will start at 6:45am under the theme “Enable Women With Disability Get University Education” and all proceeds collected will be diverted to the mentioned cause.
According to organizers, former World Champion Dorcas Inzikuru will also grace the run. The run will have two categories; 5KM and 10KM with each participant paying UGX 20,000 to be part.
“The Alumni and friends of MUBS as well as well-wishers, I call upon your positive response.Come and participate in this run in a bid to help support the education of the disabled girl child.” MUBS Principal, Prof. Waswa Balunywa urged well wishers.
