Mama Phina real names Sylvia Namutebi who appears to be one of the top traditional healers in Uganda has grown her brand to cut across several social standards. Despite being rich, the local traditional healer and entrepreneur has revealed something that the public did not know about her real life.
While being grilled by NTV’s Frank Walusimbi on the famous Tuwaye show yesterday evening, Mama Phina revealed that she did not study much like her children.
“Nakoma mu P.4” a Luganda statement meaning I stopped in P.4. However, her continued engagements with educated people both in Uganda and abroad has helped her grab some English statements as she cannot completely fail to understand an English conversation most especially money transactions.
Mama Phina is a mother to a son named Rashid Kyonjo who is in his first year at campus and also Safinah Ali Muhammed also at campus. Both her kids have grown to become business entrepreneurs at a young age and there is no sign of them inheriting their mother’s job of being traditional healers.
