On Friday last week, the alumni of Taibah International School gathered at Protea hotel to celebrate 20 years of greatness.
Taibah International school have over the years grown immensely, now with a staff of over 230 across the schools – Taibah Junior School, the city school in Kawempe, Taibah International School in Bwebaja and Taibah International School Primary that is celebrating 20 years.
The school boasts of some of the most best performing students when they make it to university. These same students are also some of the very responsible, hard-working, and loyal students because of the Taibah code that they were taught.
Speaking to alumni and staff, Hajjati Mariam Luyombo the director of Taibah International school emphasised that they want to continue influencing the world of education through their graduates and through introducing change in teaching and learning through use of ICT and the provision of wholesome education. “We firmly believe in education with a difference,” she added.
Graduates of Taibah, espouse the 5Cs where they preach-children to be: confident, creative in problem solving, critical thinkers very necessary for a developing country, great communicators and team people and also care for the community.
At the end of the event, the most loyal and long serving staff of the school were awarded for their exceptional service in bettering the education of many young people.
