Joseph Tamale Mirundi Junior, a son to controversial political analyst Tamale Mirundi has landed a juicy job at the Lands Ministry, Campus Bee has learnt.
Reliable information reaching us indicates that the outspoken former Makerere University student will be serving as the Executive Personal Assistant to State Minister Dr. Sam Mayanja.
Word circulating amongst political analysts has it that Joseph Mirundi will be leading a group of graduates on social media to support President Museveni in the ongoing land wrangles between the government and Buganda Kingdom.
Among other responsibilities, the young Mirundi is also expected to help Dr. Mayanja to coordinate research as well as harmonize meetings with hundreds of land grabbing victims who keep flocking the Lands Ministry.
Joseph Mirundi’s personality reportedly persuaded Mayanja to give him the job. It is said that Mirundi is among the few young people with “balls” to back Mayanja’s controversial ideas.
Mayanja sometimes gets direct directives from the President who sends to him land grab victims whose cases require urgent intervention. The young Mirundi will now be executing directives straight from the President when the 60-year old Minister is caught up with other duties.
It should be recalled that Joseph Mirundi was a strong supporter of NUP leader Bobi Wine who recently exited the party citing selfish and unclear ideas by some party members.
Mirundi Jr. served as the deputy speaker of Uganda Young Democrats (UYD), the biggest political party university wing. He pursued a Bachelor of Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Makerere University.
