Derrick Karahukayo, the deceased Makerere student who collapsed and passed away yesterday (Wednesday 30th August, 2016) has been laid to rest today at his ancestral home in the western Uganda district of Rukungiri amid tears.
The final year student of Pyschology and former resident of Lumumba hall, according to family members collapsed and passed away as he was being rushed to the hospital for medication.
According to a family member who preferred anonymity, the deceased passed away because of a stroke but couldnt verify whether a postmortem had been carried out or not.
Derro, as he was fondly referred to completed his race on earth yesterday in a rather shocking manner since he didnt possess any known complication as per accounts from his friends.
A delegation of mourners from Makerere University travelled over-night to bid farewell to him.
