KAMPALA — Social media was set ablaze this weekend when a steamy video surfaced online allegedly featuring popular Kiwowo content creator Real Hommie Quan in a compromising scene. But the internet sensation is now speaking out — and he’s not having it.
“I’ve seen the video everyone’s talking about, and let me be clear — that is NOT me,” Hommie Quan told followers in a statement. “The guy just looks like me, but it isn’t. I’m a married man and very responsible. I have no time to act porn,” he added, visibly upset by the scandal.
The clip, which quickly spread across TikTok, Telegram, and X (formerly Twitter), shows a man bearing a striking resemblance to Quan engaging in explicit acts. However, Quan insists it’s AI-generated or a lookalike, and says he’s considering legal action against those spreading the video.
“I respect myself and my family. Whoever is behind this is trying to ruin my name, but the truth will come out,” he said.
Fans are now split — some defending the star and blaming deepfake technology, while others remain skeptical.
The controversy has sparked wider debate on AI misuse, deepfakes, and the damage they can do to public figures.
