The Young Bosses Academy by Africa Elevation commenced today at International University of East Africa [IUEA] where a number of selected young entrepreneurs and students gathered to get a piece of the valuable entrepreneurial information.
The Academy that started off with over 100 students is running under the theme “Cultivating an entrepreneurial and productive mindset amongst youth aged 18-35” with an aim of offering great opportunity for young ambition to be nurtured.
The Young Bosses Academy was kick-started by Barbara Katende a Master’s lecturer at Makerere University and the director of Excellence enterprises who encouraged young people to look at other people’s problems as opportunities. “Your knowledge and exposure is a source of business opportunity,” Barbara Katende urged students and young entrepreneurs.
The Academy is to last 5 days ending on 12th August which coincidentally is International Youth Day. Young entrepreneurs are expected to leave the academy with a boosted entrepreneurial mind.
