Samson Kasumba, a celebrated journalist at Nxt Media’s NBS television network, critical thinker and social transformer while on freelance work on the 28th of July 2020 came out to endorse Uganda Christian University (UCU) as what he termed as the best private university in the country and being a man keen on ethics, continued to applaud the campus for efforts on moral conduct.
Information reaching the Hive quotes Kasumba saying that when one is considering private university, there are three things to be considered and these are the learning environment, the size of class, who teaches you, the age of the university and who studied there. All the qualities which he said made UCU an ideal campus for learning.
“I am still very conservative. I am very Christian. I believe in christian education and Christian principles and philosophies. I mean even if i was not a Christian I would still read the Bible and would go by its principals. There’s a lot of stigma that goes around about this university being strict on regulations and all but I’ve been working for some time and taught in a university. I think these things really matter. There’s nothing wrong with dressing right while still in an educational institution.” our reporter quoted Samson
He added that once the students got out into the cooperate world, they would understand that cooperate image is also down to how one dresses and it was he’s opinion that there is a good reason for one to obtain their education from UCU.
