Today, the ladies of Mary Stuart were treated to a rather alarming act of theft from what looked like a young “innocent” boy who was in the guise of hawking a weighing scale. The suspect kept moving from door to door looking for potential customers who wanted to know their weight.
The suspect who for some reason was tempted to add a little weight to his pockets, stole two smartphones. The theft saga attracted Lumumba boys who entered to enjoy their lunch but expressed their hunger on the little boy in red. The thug received a couple of cains, slaps and for some reason he didn’t cry.
A few self proclaimed gentlemen from Lumumba like Ndamwesiga Ian rushed the thief to the warden’s booth which attracted a crowd of angry ladies and gentlemen. It was after 15 minutes of noise that attracted Kayihura’s boys who whisked the suspect onto a moving police patrol to save the kid from possible leaching. The suspect was transported to the university police.
This is not the first time a thief or suspect is caught stealing in a hall of residence. Unfortunately theft is on the rise and this isn’t pleasing many people, a few show may seem kind and liberal but others will always show no mercy. It’s upon the University administration, police and students to crack down on theft in universities
