The entire Makerere University Business School(MUBS) community was hit by sad news this morning as one of their own, a one Gloria Mutoni was pronounced dead in the wee hours of the morning. Mutoni was a student of Bachelor of Arts in Economics who had just completed her third year, awaiting graduation in January 2020.
She was admitted to Nsambya Hospital where she had been receiving treatment. When her condition worsened, she was transferred to Case Hospital, following advice from the administration at Nsambya. She was later referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital when her health was deteriorating. The third year student had been in a lot of pain until the previous night when she breathed her last. The cause of death remains uncertain however.
Her friends say she will be remembered as a loving, caring and down to earth woman. Mutoni will be dearly missed. Rest in Glory Mutoni.
