Three students from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Main Campus have scored a First Class in Post graduate Bar Course at the Law Development Centre (Lira Campus ).
According to provisional results of 2020/2021 from the LDC (Lira Campus ), the three students are Awufu Ratibu, Omara Tonny and Owomugasho Catherine.
Campus Bee caught up with Awufu Ratibu to find out his secret towards his success.
“Honestly, a lot of factors contributed to this, and above all, God first. Having a positive attitude contributes 100 percent towards one’s success, socialism is a key asset. I believe all my colleagues contributed to this,” Awufu told Campus Bee.
Awufu expressed his excitement and pledged to use his legal process effectively.
“I am so excited, I may not be in position to tell you all but trust God knows why He does things the way it is for now. I am so proud right now, proud of my God given institution IUIU, my faculty, and prayers from my parents, friends,” he added.
The three plus other students from other law schools in the country have qualified for the award of post graduate diploma in legal practice subject to approval by the Management Committee.
At LDC Lira Campus, 8 students have scooped First Class, 16 students have a Merit (Second Class Upper), 33 have a second class lower while 10 managed to score Bar Course with a pass.
