Luck seems to be flowing in abundance to some Ndejje University students who have recently won a very competitive World Bank scholarship to study one of the most expensive course of Railway Engineering in Adis Ababa.
The three students are Kawiso Benard, Bakole Deogratious and Kiwanuka Moses. The scholarship is a fully paid one that covers tuition and all functional fees plus monthly allowances to the three till they complete their study. The three students will travel to Ethiopia capital where they will study the course of railway engineering for a period of four years.
This scholarship is not like any other, this one also involves health risk and life insurance for the scholars plus free trips to and fro study area and home as well as assured employment on completion of the course.
According to a source at the Ndejje University administration, it is a pleasure for the university students to be recognized by such a big organization like World Bank. The students won the scholarship after an open challenge of questions that involved intelligence and an oral interview of which they excelled unanimously.
The three students are currently pursuing different fields in engineering at the campus and will travel in early May to pursue railway engineering.
