The Makerere University community has been saddened by the untimely death of one of their students, Moses Ahumuza, a member of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) cohort 8 program and a volleyball player.
The deceased passed on today, Monday 10th August, 2020 and it is alleged that he was murdered by thugs.
He has been eulogized by different people most of which were sad to have lost a good friend and brother whose positivity was unmatched.
“I can’t believe this, I have lost a colleague, brother and friend. He was such a good friend, always positive, kept the team going and enjoyed soccer and volleyball all together. This is so sad! Rest in peace Moses Ahumuza” one of his friends posted on their Facebook timeline.
There hasn’t been any communication in regard to his burial arrangements but we hope that they are underway and we shall keep you posted.
