Lying is common and mostly part of every relationship or friendship or whatever you may call it, but have you ever wondered if your partner is lying to your face and you believe. Here are some ways to know when your partner is lying.
The denial phase
The denial phase is common, your relationship partner will never admit when they are lying… I mean that’s so obvious, that doesn’t mean he is not lying. There are these common denial phrases, if you notice clearly they are repeated in almost every time you catch your bae in a lie, phrases like trust me, honestly and to be perfectly honest I don’t know… Twaleli you know.
God is on their side
Don’t get me wrong on this but most of you know this is true. This business of your boyfriend or girlfriend always saying “I swear on my …. grave, God is my witness” like seriously, this is becoming very cliche and stale, please find another lie.
No eye contact
Some people most especially guys do not make eye contact when they are lying and if you notice clearly they give you a certain weird expression when you catch them in a lie. Don’t be fooled, that person is seriously lying and you’re just the victim.
Listen to the inconsistencies
Your boyfriend or girlfriend might have told you a certain version of a night out one time and then when you randomly ask about that ‘night out’ he probably will change some words. If this happens, just know he/she has been lying or he/she is about to expand on the lie.
Ask for details
Have you sometimes realised that when you ask for certain details about things you’ve heard or seen and your boyfriend just brushes you off or even blurts out the words, ‘honestly’ they are not aware, with this just relax and don’t hurt yourself further.
we can’t exhaust everything in this article but most of you if not some of you are victims of these tips given above, all you can do is just try to get over it and once in a while stand your ground.
