A Top city events cop and ex Police officer, Dixon ‘Bond’ Okello wishes all the Miss Uganda contestants were arrested. Okello, who has manages security of events in Kampala is outraged and hopes the judges on the recently concluded beauty contest are all jailed for being ‘blind’.
“Looking at the qualities of this year’s Miss UGANDA beauty pageant contestants, one would honestly wish that all the judges were arrested. Non of the ladies was even fit to contest for Miss Bwaise,Katanga or Kotido. A beauty queen according to me must be beautiful with mass appeal and nothing more than that,” Okello says.
He adds: “A woman whether with or without make up making a stunning appearance should be considered beautiful. Her figure, poise, elegance is also important. They shouldn’t always be witty or intelligent to win the crown. After all, it is a beauty contest and should not have anything to do with “brain power.”
Leah Kalanguka, a student at Makerere University who will graduate this January with a bachelor’s degree in Software engineering was crowned MissUganda 2014/2015 but has since been treated with mean comments by the public for her ‘bad looks’.
