TotalEnergies EP Uganda is offering an exciting opportunity for fresh university graduates to kickstart their careers in the oil and gas sector. The company is seeking Graduate Trainees to join its Geoscience & Reservoir department, contributing to the development of Uganda’s burgeoning energy industry.
The Graduate Trainee program is designed for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering within the past two years. Candidates should possess academic credentials indicative of at least an upper second-class degree. A maximum of two years of post-graduation experience in the petroleum industry is acceptable.
Trainees will support the Geoscience & Reservoir department, delving into Reservoir Development and assisting the Reservoir Engineering team with daily activities. This role offers hands-on experience, allowing trainees to acquire essential skills pertinent to the oil and gas sector.
As TotalEnergies EP Uganda prepares for First Oil in 2025, the affiliate is entering the project execution phase, focusing on the timely and quality delivery of the Tilenga project. Trainees will be based in the Kampala office but may travel to field locations as necessary. They will report to the Head of Department or a designated supervisor.
