News reaching us today indicates that Uganda Christian University (UCU) is covered by darkness and shock following the untimely death of a one Edgar Isangha also known as Amooti, a second year student who has been pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology.
Reports coming from the close sources allege that Isangha had been stressed, depressed and been fighting a lot of silent battles a few days before yesterday when he stabbed himself to death. His friends even said they would rarely see him but didn’t know what exactly was going on with his life.
It is also alleged that, he was from playing FIFA at about 1:30am when he went to his room and shortly after he had reached he started breaking things, as if fighting someone but when the neighbors rushed to see what was transpiring, they found him alone, in a locked room, broke the door and his window and entered the room but he was fighting nobody, had deep and intense wounds in a messed up room full of broken pieces of plates, mirror and other things while he lay down into cold blood and was bleeding profusely.
He was then rushed to hospital immediately but unfortunately he couldn’t survive. One of his close friends who preferred anonymity described him as a friendly, very humble, caring and kind person who liked to associate with people so much. She further added that, she is so traumatized and disturbed by the news of his death and only prays that God gives him a peaceful rest.
The deceased hailed from Fort Portal in Kabarole district, western Uganda where he shall be laid to rest. Burial arrangements shall however be communicated later. May his soul rest in peace.
