The Vice Chancellor of Kyambogo University Prof Eli Katunguka yesterday tweeted a picture of a section of Kyambogo University students sitting for an examination while he communicated about the end of the semester.
In his tweet, he said that “Kyambogo University students sitting end of semester examinations. The semester ends today 2nd October 2022 and the next one starts on the 29th day of the same month.”
Absurd though, is the fact that a one tweep looked far beyond the message being communicated and carefully scrutinized and observed the picture showing how these students doing the examination were seated.
“Balinga abatudde ku potty,” one tweep commented, loosely translating to, “the students look like they are sitted on a potty (a bowl used by small children as a toilet).”
The students indeed look to be struggling to answer the examination. One would think they are about to jump off the “basin-like” chairs in CLB and CTF.
Well, that might be attributed to the design of the furniture. Each student is focused on their own paper, thanks to the strict invigilation regarding these semester’s examinations.
While someone else might think it’s because invigilators were in every corner of the room to make sure no one stole a quick glimpse at the neighbor’s paper, someone else is always trying to make fun of the situation, making it more absurd than it already seems.
Anyway, the blue app is not for the weak, like they always say.
