It is said that the two were murdered and packed in polythene bags on Friday 4th January after which a terrible smell started coming from the locked room, where very loud music was playing. More information indicates that a young man identified as Bob France who is now suspected to have killed the two got into an argument with his girlfriend (Njiiba) on Friday.
According to Safi’s sister (names unknown), the deceased had gone to pick up her best friend (Njiiba) for an appointment on Friday, and that was the last time she heard from her. “She’s my sister and she went to pick her best friend to come here for the appointment because the guy was the one who invited them.” Safi’s sister revealed.
Residents narrate that after smelling an unusual stench, they moved around the house and discovered flies entering under the door at the same time when loud music was playing.

Alex Kalibala, a young boy who Bob sent to buy chips narrated how he found the situation earlier on that day before the two were killed. “When I came back from the market, I found one of the girls seated outside and the other was sleeping inside. Then he (Bob) touched on his stomach and said he was satisfied so he gave the chips to the girls. An argument was later sparked off and he immediately closed the door.” Kalibala said.
After several investigations, the police managed to land on Bob France’s picture which was later used to arrest him at Entebbe Airport as he tried to fly out of the country. Bob is now the key suspect in the murder of the two students as police together with medical experts continue to investigate this murder.
