Victory news coming in from Uganda Christian University indicate that their female students (Lady Canons) have yet again won the National Basketball league for the third time in a row. The church girls emerged winners yesterday after thumping KCCA Leopards 62 – 54.
The new women basket ball league champions have been winning this league from 2015, 2016 and now 2017. Besides christianity and education, the UCU Lady Canons have proven to be excellent at sports as well by maintaining their winning streak.
The Mukono based campus took to social media to congratulate these church girls yesterday evening.
