Xavier Mugombesha, the Deputy Speaker of the UCU Guild and MP Law has been forced to resign after he was discovered by the University Disciplinary Committee to have cheated in exams. His replacement will be effected on Thursday when the electorates will be voting for yet another representative from the faculty in the parliament as they vote the new guild president.
