Mirembe Hannah, a finalist at UCU pursuing a Bachelors in Human Resource Management is one of the less fortunate whose name does not appear in the graduation list.
Hannah is so depressed and disappointed as her results were out but her name was no where, she cleared all her dues and should therefore be in position to see her name on the list. The UCU religious leaders according to her, are being arrogant and incompetent. To top it all up, they were chased by police when they went to storm the vice chancellor’s office. The administration claimed that it was too late to do anything for them and therefore they should wait until March next year to graduate.
Hannah being in her disgruntled state is un-happy and wants to graduate on 30th this week. She and the other 30 students who disgruntled are suing the University on the above grounds. To her surprise, people with retakes and missing marks are appearing on the list. So the question still stands: is UCU being fair?
