Uganda Christian University (UCU) Director – Academic affairs has informed the students’community of a change in program as regards key Easter Semester activities.
An alteration of dates has been made, mainly affecting the examinations schedule. Initially, examinations at the UCU main campus were slated to start on April 11, 2022 but are now to kick-off a week later.
“The end of Easter 2022 Semester Exams have been rescheduled to begin onTuesday, 19th April 2022 and not 11th April 2022,” a memo from the academics department partly read.
The actual cause of the extention has not been stated but one of our correspondents from the institution intimated that the existence of the Easter break between 15th to 18th April could have interrupted the initial plan.
Resultantly, the University has as well extended the semester closure date.
“The Easter 2022 semester will now end on Friday, 29th April 2022 and not 22nd April 2022 as previously scheduled,” the memo added.
Students should however note that the reporting date for the subsequent semester has remained constant.
“The reporting date for the Trinity 2022 semester is unchanged and will be on Monday, 9th May 2022. Lectures will begin on Wednesday, 11th May 2022,” the memo concluded.
