Uganda Christian University (UCU) is holding the second part of its 24th Graduation ceremony today, Friday 13th October, 2023.
In a ceremony presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezia total of 986 students are graduating, of whom 527 (54%) are female and 459 (46%) are male.
Of these, 33 have obtained First Class degrees (20 females and 13 males). Ms. Claire Precious Ninsiima of Bachelor of Business Administration is the overall best student. She scored a CGPA of 4.78. She is also the best Female student and the best student in Arts.
During the commissioning service held yesterday at the main campus in Mukono, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, Mr. David Mugawe, presented an award to Afema Gilbert, the overall best male student.
He will be graduating with a Bachelor of Divinity with a CGPA of 4.60.

At the same event, the overall best science student, Jjuuko Martin was recognized. He will graduate today with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a CGPA of 4.50.
