There is never any sadder news these days, than the decease of close relations, friends, and family. Unfortunate events have been typical these past days.
Over the weekend, UCU was saddened by the death of another student, an alumni Nabimanya Linden, a graduate from 2016. This is just a few days after the burial of a finalist, Namakhola Ritah, that passed on last week. Linden perished in a car accident on Mbarara – Ibanda road just a few days to her wedding day.
She was expected to walk the aisle in April, next month with her fiancé Amanya Edgar with whom they have been together for the past 9 years. She graduated from UCU with a Bachelors of Human Resource Management.
The couple had been holding several wedding meetings at Centenary Park and had already made plans for their wedding ceremony. The fiancé was devastated by the news and shared his condolence message in a Facebook post.
“Love of my life, Nabimanya Linden, we met as teanagers way back in 2009. You taught me what love is and you had groomed me to the man that I am today. 9 years later, we had agreed to make it official and wed next month, but satan decided to snatch you away from me. I received my first call from you early morning not knowing it was going to be the last. Will always love you pretty….” Read the tearing Facebook post from her fiancé.
May her soul rest in Peace.
