Uganda Christian University (UCU) Law Society has invited a number of influential figures including lawyers, politicians and judges to be guests in tomorrow’s highly anticipated Law Symposium.
The symposium will be held from Agape Square beginning at 9am up to 5pm.
Among the figures to grace the event include Francis Gimara (President Uganda Law Society), Corporate Lawyers like David Mpanga, Robert Kirunda, Catherine Bamugemereire (Justice of the Court of Appeal) and Politician Norbert Mao among other notable figures.
The discussion will be on the rule of law in Uganda surrounding the theme: “Rule of law, how far off the paper?” Different speakers will make presentations to students.
There will also be a Q&A session where students will ask the discussants questions regarding their submissions.
This is an event that happens once a year.
