Newly elected Uganda Christian University Guild President Timothy Kadaga has pledged to organise a UCU Run. This is an initiative that he says was part of his manifesto during the campaigns.
“We intend to systematically fulfill our manifesto. This semester, we are organising a UCU Run which will raise funds to cater for some of the challenges we as students face,” he said.
The run is scheduled for 22nd February, 2020. It will involve the UCU fraternity and other stakeholders that are willing to support the cause of the run.
In addition, the January intake at the Mukono based University kicked off on 3rd January 2020. The University experienced a steady in flow of students trickling into its gates as they report back to continue with their studies.
Kadaga went on to wish the students a successful semester that lies ahead of them. Registration of the forthcoming semester is in progress.
