Students of Journalism at Uganda Christian University (UCU) are living in fear over the unending wait for their marks. Students especially those in their final year are desperate to see their results and are living impatiently over the continued delay of their release.
“I am in my final year and this delay really scares me, I want to get done with Campus,” one of the anxious students told Campus Bee in a phone interview.
According to reports we got from the Mukono based university, the faculty is trying to release the results online via the UCU Alpha App in a bid to go digital. However, there are still a number of technicalities on the App as students cannot see their marks there.
On their part, the faculty administration claim that the situation is under control and that the students are unnecessarily anxious.
“We have not lost the marks. We have the marks and they will be released. Students don’t need to be so anxious over a matter we have handled successfully for the past years.” A source within the administration told Campus Bee.
The students have even created a hashtag on Twitter (#FreeOurResults) and are seriously engaged in activism for their results.
