The Faculty of Law will host her alumni students in a Law Alumni Homecoming that is scheduled to take place on the 20th October 2018 at the university campus in Mukono.
The activities organized for the day will take place from the university new pitch starting at 8am under the theme: “UCU Law School, the best thing I ever did.”
The alumni will get an opportunity to engage with the both the continuing and finalist law students of the faculty in a number of activities that have been organized for the day.
Games such as football, netball, chess, basketball among others have been scheduled to take place on that day. There will also be a barbecue later in the evening where the current students will be mentored by the alumni as well as given career guidance.
The Alumni sports gala is a follow up to the alumni homecoming that took place earlier in July this year at the university.
It is also intended to create network between the former student after years of being separated by the different graduation ceremonies that the university has organized. The first lot of lawyers at UCU graduated in 2000 and the latest graduated early in July this year.
