UCU Releases Academic Calendar, Freshers’ Orientation and other Key Semester Dates Revealed

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has today, 30th August, 2023, welcomed both new and continuing students for the advent semester.

The new students (freshers) that were admitted for this for this intake started reporting today and are expected to roll on with the orientation programme starting on September 1, 2023.

Its against this background that UCU has requested students to mark important dates on the semester calendar, including deadlines and exams.

According to the shared schedule of events, lectures are expected to commence on Monday 4th September, 2023 till 27th November, 2023 with examinations starting on December 4.

The semester will come to a close on 15th December, 2023.

Other important dates to look out for include;

• Prompt Deadline (discount applies) – 1st SEPTEMBER
• Registration Deadline Day (45% – 100% tuition and Other fees + 100% Accommodation for Residents)- 15th SEPTEMBER
• Midterm Deadline (At least 75% of Tuition and Other fees required)- 28th OCTOBER
• Full fees Deadline (All fees should be paid)- 4th NOVEMBER
