Uganda Christian University (UCU) is set to construct a multi-million food court at the institution’s Baskerville Parking lot and also revamp the Kivengere parking lot.
The construction of the Food court was launched on Monday April 11th, 2022 with a groundbreaking exercise by the university Vice Chancellor Professor Aaron Mushengyezi and Guild President Sserwadda Racheal.
The food court will house restaurants, ATMs, and create space for operation of other businesses.
Sserwadda Racheal, the guild president UCU main campus, says the food court will have a mega supermarket, a restaurant for the VC to have lunch together with the students as well as free WiFi.
“We started work on the Kivengere Parking lot and food court project which will include a supermarket, ATM machines, a restaurant where the Vice Chancellor can have coffee with the students and free WiFi to the students community,” Sserwadda tweeted.
