Popular, for his fight against the violation of human rights and various International Human Rights Championship Awards won like the German Africa Prize 2017 and Pride Uganda Award 2017, Counsel Nicholas Opio is expected to give a key address on the role of I.C.C. in promoting Human Rights and Peace on the National and Global stage tomorrow, 9th March, 2018 at the Mukono Based Christian University.
Our sources confirmed that amongst the invited Key speakers is Counsel Bako Patricia an International Justice Practitioner and Mr. Phakiso Mochochoko the Director of Jurisdiction, Complementarity and Cooperation Division of the International Criminal Court.
This comes two days after the former Inspector General of Police (I.G.P) Kale Kayihura was dragged to the I.C.C. for forcefully deporting a group of Rwandan nationals back to Rwanda.
