The Uganda National Students’ Association (UNSA) has announced its 2024 Inter Guild Council, which will take place on October 18, 2024, at Nkoyoyo Hall, Uganda Christian University (UCU), Mukono.
The event, themed “Educating for Economic Empowerment: Transforming Uganda through Skills, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship,” will bring together student delegates from subscribing universities and tertiary institutions.
Eligible participants include guild presidents, guild speakers, and representatives for persons with disabilities.
The aim is to foster dialogue on economic empowerment through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship for Uganda’s youth.
In accordance with Article 6, clause 2.5 of the UNSA constitution as amended in 2022, this annual event will gather student leaders to discuss these vital themes.
Accordingly, this council is expected to provide a platform for young leaders to exchange ideas, best practices, and insights aimed at shaping Uganda’s future through education and entrepreneurship.
Participants are expected to bring their school or national identity cards, and they will be provided with meals during the event. However, the invitation specifies that no transport or accommodation refunds will be offered, and participants must make their own arrangements in this regard.
