22-year-old Uganda Christian University main branch Mukono former Vice Guild president, Sharon Nagenjwa Okello has expressed interest in vying for the National Female Youth member of Parliament seat come next year, 2016 hitherto resigning from her prestigious vice guild presidential seat.
She affirmed her interest for the youth parliamentary seat late this week while addressing a group of journalists in Kampala. She called upon other students and youth to take their leadership at the National level.
It’s lucid that this second year mass communication student who doubles as the university’s vice guild president had earlier resigned from her position weeks earlier on clear grounds that the university did not offer opportunity for partisan politics therein limiting the students chances in participating in national politics.
Sharon however added that she too resigned from her seat to give opportunity to other students.
