Kyambogo University suffered a defeat to Makerere University during their opening game in the University Football League (UFL) season 11.
Kyambogo conceded one goal and scored none in their first game of the season played on Sunday September 17th, 2023.
The Hosts (Makerere) displayed tactical football despite the rains that made the pitch wet and slippery.

In the 39th minute, Sadat Kasaga scored Makerere’s and the only goal of the game, securing three points for his team.
Makerere took advantage of being home to mobilize supporters that overwhelmed their opponents.
Makerere will visit Kyambogo in the second leg and the latter is optimistic that it will defeat the former in the return game.
