The 11th edition of the University Football League opened on September 13th with a game between last season’s first runner up and Nkumba University.
St. Lawrence University (SLAU) exhibited its readiness to reach the finals this season with a win against Nkumba.

SLAU beat Nkumba University 3 on 1 at the game played at Kavule to scope their first three points.
Kembo Osman, Michael Abura and Innocent scored for SLAU while Kavuma Abbey scored Nkumba’s only goal of the game.
Among other highly anticipated games this week is Sunday’s game of Kyambogo University against Makerere University.
