Uganda Christian University: With the resigning of Andrew Mugisa, who had emerged the winner of the last guild elections in UCU for forging his baptism and confirmation certificate to qualify for the post. The Electoral commission in the University has set up fresh polls today. Two candidates, Namara Keith Kyaruzi (LLB3) and Murungi Blesses (SWASA3) are vying for Andrew Mugisa’s seat. The two took part in the previous elections.
Murungi Blessed lost to Andrew in the Guild president race whilst Namara Keith Kyaruzi lost the race for MP law faculty. The re-elections also include electing a new Mp for Law and Divinity faculties. The campaigns ended last evening to give a favorable environment for the voting which started this morning. Results will be announced tonight and campusbee will definitely keep you posted.
