Uganda Christian University Vice Chancellor Rev .Canon Dr. John Senyonyi on Friday 25th April 25, 2014 received the new University’s bus. The bus will help on the transportation of students and staff members to various destinations for various activities like sports, gospel ministries.
The 68 seater Scania bus makes it number two to the one that was there before. The bus was financed wholly buy the University with partnership with Centenary Bank through a short loan. While receiving the bus, the VC explained the objectives of acquiring a second bus. “We thought of a new bus because the number of students in the university is increasing and we needed to be able to have enough transport for the students,” said Senyonyi. The Guild Speaker Duncan Muhumuza who was present at the receiving of the bus thanked the University for fulfilling their promise. “We are grateful and thank God for the new bus. I want to thank the university body for having endeavored to fulfill their promise to the university in terms of transport,” he said.
Transportation at the university is no longer a hustle, kudos!
