Uganda Journalists Association commends Dr Ruth Aisha Kasolo for the good work Uganda Journalists Association has come out to appreciate and award Private Sector Foundation Uganda Project Director Dr Ruth Kasolo for her hard work in transforming lives of Ugandans using the media.
Every time Dr Ruth Aisha Kasolo is invited on a talk show, she atleast leaves an advice or lessons about life and business.
Most of the time when not on mainstream media, she uses different social media platforms like Tiktok, YouTube and Whatsapp to relay the message on business and life lessons.
As Project Director at Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Dr Kasolo’s office has a lot on her desk but teaching Ugandans on business and life using social media is what Uganda Journalists Associations appreciate of her.
Currently, she is also directing a world bank funded project titled G.R.O.W. The project aims at helping women Entrepreneurs in Uganda to grow from small and Micro enterprises to Macro enterprises.
Uganda Journalists Association, an organization that awarded Dr Kasolo was formed in 1963 by a group of Journalists who developed a sense of activism among a deteriorating context and glaring abuses targeting the media.
