Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi Gets New Vice Chancellor

For Uganda martyrs university Nkozi, the new year has paid off well with a new Vice-Chancellor appointed into office. Professor John Chrysostom Maviiri has had a long career in leadership and the university is at a victory applaud.

Prof. Maviiri was chairman Board of Governors at Our Lady of Good Counsel secondary school, Gayaaza(1993-1995), Chairman Board of Governors at Ggaba Teachers Training College(1991-1995) and also Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University East Africa-CUEA (2002-2011) plus many supplementary roles. Prof. Maviiri received the Vice Chancellor’s handover report on January14th 2015 in the presence of the University management and follows in the footsteps of prof. Charles Olweny who has done a commendable job at the institute. We wish Prof. Maviiri a good time in his office.
